On Sunday 13 September 2026, nearly 20,000 women filled the streets of Paris for the 29th edition of La Parisienne, the capital’s celebrated women-only race, starting on the Pont d’Iéna at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Runners and walkers covered 7 or 10 kilometres past the Seine, Place de la Concorde and the city’s grand monuments, in an event themed “Les Amazones” and widely covered by Le Parisien as one of the highlights of the Paris sporting calendar.
